Summary: Loontoon is growing, I have gallstones. Trying to treat with diet and possible removal of gallbladder after 13weeks. Next appt on wed
Things have been kind of crazy over here.
I havent really blogged alot mainly because I was in a weird place that I need to work myself out of.
This story started last sunday (8/3) when I started having a pain which I thought was a back ache which then turned into what I thought was heartburn. It got pretty severe so off to the ER we went (were I proceeded to vomit in the waiting room prompting them to see me quickly 
). After several tests (chest xray, ultrasound, bloodwork) the doctors didnt really know what was happening, thought maybe was pneumonia or esophogial(sp?) spams so they gave me some tylenol and a muscle relaxant and send me home. I did have elevated white blood counts so that was worrying. By the time I woke up monday morning the pain was gone and all was ok in that department. Went to my RE appt, got put on bed rest and was waiting for my appt today.
Well then came saturday night (8/9). The pain started the same way. I took tylenol hoping to ward off most of the really bad pain. That definetely did not work. By 9pm I was back in the ER (different hospital), this time the doctor knew right away what it was. GALL STONES. Yup gallstones. After a confirmation ultrasound, were I was a ‘decent’ sized stone, we knew for sure. At this point its about 3am on sun and I am told I am being admited to be seen by the surgeon in the am. Of course I freak. I cant have surgery at 6w pregnant. Surgeon comes in on sun afternoon (by this time the pain is gone) and schedules an u/s for monday morning to check for ‘viability of the pregnancy’. If no heartbeat straight to surgery, if heartbeat present try to manage with diet and minor pain meds.
So since I am typing this on mon evening from home, you can guess that I did not have surgery today. This is because loontoon (new given name) is growing. Ultrasound today showed baby measuring 6w0days with heart rate of 125 [I am 6w3d today]. 
I have an appt with my RE on wed and hoping to actually see loontoon and hopefully its caught up.
WHOA. That is a lot going on. I know that I have gall stones and pray to God they don’t flare up during my pregnancy. My GP wanted to take out my gall bladder before TTC but I didn’t want to jinx anything or remove any God given organs before trying on my own anyways. Hopefully I will get mine out soon enough.
And I feel ya on the pain – it hurts like a son of a bitch!
Congratulations on loontoon’s heart tones! Sorry to hear about the gallstones at this time, or any time for that matter, but especially at this time. Hopefully they can manage them for the next several weeks. Keeping you in my prayers!

I am glad to here that loontoon is still doing alright and growing… That is great news! That little guy/girl is just hanging in there for sure!

Tripped over here from Lissa – I do remember you briefly from the BBC boards, though I jumped ship after so many got pg.
Congrats. The three days behind thing is really nothing. We had all kinds of measurement issues. I know you want loontoon to be perfectly “on target” – but remember that a millimeter equals a day. And the measurement error is usually a week or so in either direction this early.
Hope things continue to go well – and that the gallstone thing can wait.
