Today as I sit and look back on the past year I cant help but be amazed at how much can change in just a short year.

 A year ago today we geared up for our 1st transfer. It had been a tough 3 years of trying and I think I was still in denial that we were actually doing IVF.  For those of you that have done transfers, you know that you show up for your transfer not actually knowing if you have anything to transfer. So we show up, do that prep thing and just wait for our doctor to coming in with the news.  For us, luck was on our side.

A year ago today, July 16, 2008, we transferred two beautiful 5day blasts

Then we sat and prayed. We asked our friends and family to pray and waited.

Today, July 16, 2009, we give thanks that our wish came true and realize what a difference a year makes. Three and a half months ago we welcomed a beautiful baby boy into our arms. He is our world and we couldnt be happier.

As we do everyday, we look at him and give thanks for this blessing. We look at him and realize how lucky we are to have been given this gift. We treasure every smile and even every cry. There are no words to express our love for him.

We thank God for granting us this blessing. We thank our nurses and doctors for their knowledge and faith and we thank all of our family and friends for their prayers and support in the past year. We look forward to having you share in our love for our son and our joy in watching him grow!
